This list is compiled from Mike Boebinger's 1980 Silver Bars Experience Staff Certificate of Merit. Every effort has been made to achieve accuracy, but sometimes photographs are hard. Please direct any corrections to dm dot boyle at att dot net.
It appears Silver Bars in '80 trained six patrols based on the number of Patrol Councelors on staff. I have been advised a P/C is somewhat analagous to a Troop Guide, probably also encompassing the role of Instructor. In a regular "home" troop, as with Troop Guides, these were likely more senior scouts with more experience and scoutcraft skills who helped bring up new scouts in the troop. In the Silver Bars setting, they likely performed a dual-role that would be split up between Troop Guides and Instructors in later years. I will be working to learn as much as I can about Troop Leader Development and Silver Bars as they were the direct predecessors to White Stag TLTC and JLTC in the Crossroads of America Council with a rapid evolution taking place between 1979 and 1982.
